Cream City Medical Society & All of Us Discussion about Precision Medicine
“At the moment, health care is often one-size-fits-all. When we visit the doctor, our treatments are often the same. We think one day health care should be tailored to you. This is called precision medicine. And research can help us get there. How? By creating a resource that may allow researchers to conduct thousands of studies on health and disease. Join us. The future of health begins with you.”
Presented by: All of Us Research Program at UW-Madison's Center for Community Engagement and Health Partnerships
MCW 2022 Commencement: Student Inclusion & Diversity Ceremony
April 12, 2022
Dear Colleagues:
The Office of Student Inclusion and Diversity (OSID) cordially invites you to attend our graduation ceremony entitled, Celebration of Diverse Excellence: Recognition of MCW Graduates Who Are Underrepresented in Health Sciences, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in the MCW-Milwaukee Alumni Center.
As you know, Commencement Week is a special time for students to celebrate and commemorate their outstanding work and accomplishments as they transition from students to health science professionals. To that end, OSID is honored and proud to join in these celebrations and recognize the accomplishments of our graduating students from underrepresented groups through this meaningful Ceremony.
As we prepare to celebrate with our graduating students, we also will strictly adhere to the following COVID-19 protocols to ensure a safe and memorable experience for all in attendance:
· Masks will be required.
· It is strongly encouraged that all attendees are fully vaccinated or test negative for COVID-19 within 48 hours of the Ceremony.
· The Ceremony will be live-streamed for all who wish to attend virtually.
· Boxed samplings of celebratory savory and sweet treats from locally-owned businesses will be provided for the enjoyment of all in attendance.
We look forward to celebrating the hard work and achievements of our students with you!
